İSTANBUL
FINANCIAL CENTER

The foundations of Banking Regulation And Supervision Agency (BRSA) and Capital Markets Board (CMB) buildings of Istanbul Financial Center project, which is at a walking distance to Dekon Senkron, were laid on October 15th 2016. The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning stated that this project aims to construct a financial center larger than those in New York, London and Dubai, and make Istanbul an international finance center.

With this project that will make Istanbul a global finance center, the need for housing for the employees to live in this area will increase. Being built on an area of 3 million meter squares, IFM will simply be a small city with a gigantic volume. It will host nearly 90 thousand persons per day: 50 thousand employees, 25 thousand visitors and 11 thousand residents.

The project to where banks and companies based in Ankara are expected to move their headquarters will also attract many companies located at the European side of Istanbul. Thus, a great deal of families will relocate to places near this area.

The campus of Istanbul Financial Center will comprise 4 main parts: The first part is planned to include the Central Bank of the Turkish Republic, Ziraat Bank, Vakıflar Bank, Halk Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), İş REIT, Vakıf REIT projects, in addition to BRSA and CMB. In the second part, buildings of private institutions and inspection institutions will be situated, and the third part is allocated for conventional and cultural centers. Buildings such as school, nursery, police stations, medical and religious facilities, and fire station are planned to be in the fourth part.
